Inspired by the way that our founder @wattsvictoria's son uses his sense of touch to navigate his world, she set out to create a system that would make product identification easier for blind or low vision individuals.
Understanding that less than 10% of the legally blind population in the US can read braille, we created the CyR.U.S. system of raised universal symbols to make product identification easier for the visually impaired - including those who cannot read braille. One of our raised symbols is prominently featured on each product cap.

💧 (a droplet) = Skin-Loving Face Oil
🌙 (a crescent moon) = Skin-Loving Sleep Mask
〰️ (a wavy dash) = Skin-Loving Moisturizer
Additionally, all of our outer packaging features an embossed QR code that users can scan to listen to an auditory message that provides product descriptions, ingredient call-outs, and directions.
